Another first for me!! Today I went to Ada Hayden Rec area not to walk around the lake but I actually was able to jog the entire figure 8 which is 3.2 miles with a time of 39.5 minutes.  Now that is not a fast pace whatsoever, but it was putting one foot in front of the other!  The wind was  blowing the leaves and convincing me to keep moving....and I did it!

9/26/13 I did not run yesterday and it showed!! Today I went only my 2.5 miles and had to quit at 30 minutes leaving me with a 6 minute walk home.  It was a bit hotter today than I had thought it would be, but I am still disappointed.  Tomorrow is another day!!!

I found out that my jog the other day was actually 3.2miles!!! and tonight I jogged it again  in 42 1/2 minutes!  Although going out at 7:09 might be getting a little late as the cemetery got a little dark by the time I was done!

Well hooray for me!  What an accomplishment today!  Not only did I find out that yes I can have bad days for running but I can have good days too!!  I was able to jog 41 minutes without stopping and did my 2.5 mile trek!!!!! WOW, rather pumped about that.  For some that may be very slow, and yes my jog is probably slower than someone else can walk, but I am hoping with all the extra jiggling the jogging does, maybe some additional fat will jiggle off too!---So far? Nope, it's all still there
9/19/13--Rain and Wonderful lightning stopped me from going out today.  I will take the rain any day, it is soooo dry! Hopefully tomorrow I can try again!
9/18/13 Someone please tell me that you can have a really BAD day of jogging!!! I pooped out at 25 minutes and didn't have the energy to start again so I walked over 30 minutes!!! ARGGHHH!  I was feeling so good about my times until today!

9/15 Have no idea how many miles or partial miles I went today, but here is my log: 5minW-30minJ-2minW-20J!! So a total of 7 minutes of walking and 50 minutes of jogging.  It was a cool day and so comfortable jogging.  And tonight, for supper,fresh tomatoes and carrots from the garden, yellow pepper, baked sweet potato fries and pork chops!  YUMM!!

9/13/13--Well today was a first,  I had to add pavement to my 2.5 mile trek in order to get enough time in!!! I am hoping it was close to 3 miles, I will drive it later to see.  BUT here is my minutes: 5W-20J-2W-20J!!  So a total time jogging of 40 minutes and walking only 7 1/2, with 5 minutes being my warm up.  Felt pretty good about that.

9/12/13
Sooo much easier jogging in 79 degree weather than 97 degrees!!!! Went my 2 1/2 mile trek.  5W-15J-2.45-15J-3.30W so total time walking was only 11 min and 15 seconds with jogging 30 minutes! Still struggling with getting in enough water...... It's on the list!!

9/10/13!!
I tried to wait until it got a little cooler so I didn't jog for two days but alas it didn't cool off so I trudged out in 95+ degree heat!! I took the 2 1/2 mile trek again.  This time my jog was better,   5minW-10minJ-3minW-10minJ-3minW-5minJ-2 1/2minW and wabam I was home...... very sweaty!!
So maybe there is hope for me yet!!!

Third day in a row of movement!!! Did my 2 1/2 mile route today.  I jogged a total of 25 minutes (three 7 minute and one 4 minute) and walked a total of 16 minutes!! It's getting a little bit easier! Need to get back into drinking more water again!

Whoo Hoo!  my third day in a row for jogging!!! AND  I was able to jog just as long as walk!  I jogged two 7 minute bursts, a 2 minute and then finished with 3 minutes.  My longest walk was my 5 minute warm up. Gotta keep this up.

Hey I got  out and jogged two days in a row!  I marked out a 2 mile route and was able to jog a total of 16 minutes and walked 22.5 minutes.  Not bad for me! still have yet to hit that 20 minutes total of jogging!  I will try my 2.5 mile route tomorrow, and see what happens.   BJ, I don't know how you were able to do this running 5 miles so quickly!!

Wednesday Sept 4. I was able to get out and jog again. Walked a total of 23 minutes an jogged 16 minutes.  Not what I wanted, looking to get to four 5 minute jogging times in by the end of the week!

Today I begin to feel better physically yet again.  I have started and stopped so many times!  Maybe if I put my journey down in words, I will stay true to meet my goals!
Today I walked a total of 25 minutes while jogging 3 5minue intervals.  Beautiful day to be outside!
